1st Winner Ravelex Campus DJ Championship 2011
A young talented DJ who began his journey at the age of 18. Create his own sets by combining what he calls ‘dark music’ with elements of trance. The sets is built in a form that started from dark progressive with the tight basslines and gloomy sounds surrounded by hallucinogenic melody. Continued to the faster beat of trance, filled with fairly punchy-speeding basslines and abundant sounds, from rapid white noise untill detuned waves-layered octaves with a rather long release. His blending skills have been honed to a fine pitch by the many hours he’s spent playing sets at few of clubs around Indonesia.
Never stop to explore. EGI KAGI start his DJ-ing career with a lot of experiences that he gained when he’s in DJ school (RUMUS). In his earlier career EGI KAGI also involve in JakClubbers, now he’s managing JakClubbers from recruitment, event arrangement, DJ management untill organize events. The very last, EGI KAGI joining Vanilla Record as his 3rd flag.
Most recently, EGI KAGI emerged as the 1st winner of RAVELEX DJ Championship 2011 after first year of his career and still look far ahead for his journey with his very young age.
