Yasmin love to music began at an early age when she was exposed to a vast variety of musical influences as a young girl growing up in the cosmopolitan and cultural melting pot of Jakarta. At the tender age of 19, she tried her hand at being a DJ, having picked up the techniques and skills from her best friend, all the while constantly improvising and developing herself

Her preferred musical genre is house, but Yasmin style is now a mix of everything: progressive, techno, tribal, break-beat and trance. Truly the best of all that the dance world has to offer. She looks to such greats as James Zabiela, Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Daniel Portman, Chris Reece, Dousk, Dinka, Grant Nelson, Copyright, Way Out West as her influences. What punctuates her as a DJ is her ability to not only incorporate diverse genres and styles, but to transcend them by infusing her music with pure emotion

Yasmin is managed by Sound of Zeus, one of the premier DJ and Event Managers in Indonesia, and she now stands in the company of wonderfully talented DJs such as DJ Ali, DJ Windo and DJ Zie
